![]() If Dead Rising 3's Frank DLC wasn't good enough, how about DR4? Yeah no.Street Fighter V: Anyone's favorite SF game? I really don't think it is.In fairness, they did give you Monster Hunter Generations in '15, but I'm gonna balance that against Project X Zone 2, the sequel no one needed. But hey at least we got the Phoenix Wright Trilogy port They literally didn't do anything in 2014, unless you want to count DLC for Monster Hunter Online.Dead Rising 3 had a rough start til they had to DLC Frank in.The disappointment that was SF x Tekken.Well, just going in order here, let's see: Then you have things that are just funny like Summon Chair, Summon Flying Pig, squeaky Toy Shoes and Shovel Knight Armor Gebel Glasses + Summon Hellhound is as broken as Duplicator + Power of Sire Rhava Velar is straight up Crissaegrim and Recycle Hat + Rapid Fire is its own flavor of wild. The variety of weapons + weapon skills + shards was amazing. Symphony of the Night gave you a wide variety of frankly unnecessary abilities, quirky moments and crazy OP nonsense if you knew where to find it, and I haven't found a single post-Castlevania game that approaches that sort of experience. Maybe people today appreciate more the jaw-clenching fine-tuned challenge of something like Hollow Knight (I do too) but there is something very satisfying about seeing your exploration and grind rewarded by getting the ability to melt everything in your path. Even though there is an endless amount of metroidvanias out today, it seems like today's balance-oriented design philosophy made most devs pretty shy to go as wild as they could. If the guy actually manages to actually release this thing, it will be something incredible.īloodstained doesn't look so good but it plays great. That just gives you an idea of the scope of this man's ambitions. It's impossible to kill all of the bosses before they finish their missions, so in theory every playthrough is going to be significantly different depending on who you go after first. If the green fish boss isn't killed fast, I think it wrecks the power grid or something like that and causes stages to be dark. If he had killed other bosses instead, then that boss' mission would have eventually succeeded and the stage enemies would have received some kind of buff (I forget if it's adding more enemies or whatnot). Like that fire boss that he killed has a mission to arm the Maverick army. All of the bosses in the game have 'missions'. There are certain aspects of the game that might not be apparent from the gameplay demo here, but which I know he intends to put into the finished game. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
